2. Map Studies

Skydiving companies often go on the same set path when you skydive. When you're thousands of feet up in the air, you may not process the surrounding area from the bird's eye view. Prepare for your visuals by studying overhead maps and satellite footage of the skydiving area. You will learn to recognize bodies of water, buildings, and places of interest.

When you can recognize specific landmarks, you will not feel lost or disoriented as you parachute down. You can also seek out specific views you want to see.
